The Ministry of Health and Population (MoHP) and the National Tuberculosis Control Center (NTCC) successfully held a TB prioritization meeting on 2080.04.06 at Hotel Bougainvillea, Teku. The meeting was aimed at preparing a Global Fund proposal for Grant Cycle 7. Participants included MoHP, NTCC, National Center for AIDS and STD Control (NCASC), National Public Health Laboratory (NPHL), National Health Training Center (NHTC), World Health Organization (WHO), Save the Children/Global Fund, TB implementing partners, and Civil Society Organizations (CSOs) such as NATA, JANTRA, BNMT, and Sparsha Nepal.
During the meeting, the attendees prioritized activities that were gathered from consultation meetings held at the central, provincial, and local levels. The prioritization process was based on the findings from Program reviews, EPI reviews, National Strategic Plan (NSP) priorities, the working experience of implementing partners, and the priorities set by the Global Fund.
