Workshop on Enhancing Collaboration between the National Tuberculosis Program and National HIV Program in Nepal was organized under the Chairmanship of NTCC Director, Dr. Prajowl Shreshtha and Guardianship of NCASC Director Dr. Sarbesh Sharma on 4th sep 2024 at Yellow Pagoda Hotel Jamal kathmandu. The Objective of this workshop was to discuss about how the TB program can support the HIV program and vice versa, particularly in addressing TB-HIV co-morbidity, how USAID’s PEPFAR EpiC Project can support the collaboration between TB and HIV programs in the upcoming funding period, how USAID’s PEPFAR EpiC Project can support the collaboration between TB and HIV programs in the upcoming funding period and Explore the role of community health mobilizers working within the projects of HIV program in supplementing TB case finding and treatment adherence, alongside their regular HIV-related duties. Delegates of NTCC, NCASC, WHO, USAID, SAVE THE CHILDREN, PEPFAR participated in this workshop. Directors of NTCC and NCASC Jointly signed the TB HIV Guideline 2024.
