This Meeting was conducted on 22.10.2024 at NTCC Meeting Hall under the Chairmanship of NTCC Director Dr. Prajwol Shrestha. The objective of this meeting was to share the status of the TB program and infrastructure after the flooding and explore the possibilities to restore the affected services as soon as possible. During the meeting, a Rapid Assessment report was presented by MNE section Chief Dr. Mukti Khanal. Along with the NTP Director and staff, Key partners also discussed the exploration of the possibilities to resume the diagnostic services especially the Liquid Culture and DST services. WHO, IOM, USAID, Save The Children and JANTRA participated in the discussion. WHO Commited to explore the possibilities of funding as well as drug powder of Bedaquiline, Linezolid and Pretomanid, USAID also committed to explore the drug powder. IOM committed to Proceed culture of 80 samples per month DR TB Patients and JANTRA committed for the technical support in calibration of MGIT Machine.
